Construction: $15 million permit filed for the Church Health Center

A building permit filed for the Church Health Center is a reminder of the significant and continuing work happening at the Crosstown Concourse.The permit submitted Jan. 11 for “new construction” at the 495 N. Watkins St. site had a nearly $15.6 million value. The Church Health Center is a founding partner in the 1.1-million-square-foot redevelopment of the former Sears Crosstown building.
“This is really just another step in the direction of being handed over our space,” said Jeff Hulett, communications manager for the Church Health Center. “All systems are a go, and we are really excited about our future at Crosstown Concourse.”Grinder, Taber & Grinder Inc. was listed as the contractor on the permit. They are the overall general contractor on the $200 million mixed-use remodel.The Church Health Center plans to move into their space at the Crosstown Concourse in January 2017.
