Methodist pulls permit for Crosstown Concourse
Building permits continue for the 10-story giant known as the Crosstown Concourse.
A permit valued at nearly $5.8 million was submitted Oct. 21 for the “interior buildout” of Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare’s footprint in the massive structure.
Grinder, Taber & Grinder Inc. was the contractor on the permit, and archimania was the architect. The address is 1350 Concourse Ave.
A former Sears building, the $200 million Crosstown Concourse will soon house 1.1 million square feet of mixed use space rooted in arts, education and health care. It has 620,000 square feet of office space, as well as 65,000 square feet of retail and 265 apartments.
Recently announced tenants include I Love Juice Bar and Mama Gaia. A grand opening celebration is expected to occur sometime in spring 2017.
