Permit filed for Pinnacle’s Downtown Memphis renovation

Work on Pinnacle Airlines Corp.’s new Downtown home is moving forward.
Grinder, Taber & Grinder Inc. has filed an $8.6 million building permit to renovate One Commerce Square’s concourse and floors two through 14.
The Memphis-based airline holding company signed a long-term, 170,000-square-foot lease in the Downtown office tower, located at 40 S. Main.
Looney Ricks Kiss designed Pinnacle’s space.
The building’s ownership group, Memphis Commerce Square Partners LLC, is spending at least $28.7 million purchasing and renovating the 475,082-square-foot building.
Pinnacle plans on moving 650 employees into One Commerce Square by September.
