In mid-2017, Memphis-based Wunderlich Securities announced it was moving its headquarters to Downtown Memphis in hopes the move would help it attract more wealth managers.

The company signed a 12-year, 28,000-square-foot lease in Downtown's One Commerce Square and moved its 100-person headquarters into the building this past April.

Despite moving in, improvements in the space are still underway, and the company doesn't have its sign atop the tower.

Last month, the Memphis Business Journal learned that when the company does put its sign on the building, it won't bear the name Wunderlich. Instead, B. Riley will be prominently placed in the Downtown Memphis skyline, as part of a recently announced rebranding meant to bring the company better in-line with its Los Angeles-based owner.

The Crump Firm Inc. Architects designed the renovations for Wunderlich, and Grinder, Taber & Grinder Inc. was the general contractor for the project.
