Located in the heart of the iconic Crosstown Concourse, the Church Health Center is a 150,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility that brings healthcare, wellness, and community programs together under one roof. Grinder, Taber & Grinder served as Construction Manager from the earliest planning stages, guiding the project from feasibility through completion to ensure operational and budget goals were met.

Spanning three floors, the center features Memphis’s largest consolidated dental clinic with over twenty active chairs, a wellness and aerobic center with an indoor track, custom locker rooms, a full commercial teaching kitchen, and a walk-in clinic.

Another thoughtful addition to the project included the creation of a new playground, designed to serve the families and children who visit Church Health. The playground’s location required careful planning near major underground utilities serving the Crosstown buildings, and through precise coordination and attention to detail, the GTG team ensured safe installation without disrupting critical infrastructure. The finished space fulfills an important need for Church Health, offering a welcoming outdoor environment that perfectly complements the organization’s mission of holistic wellness.

By consolidating all Church Health operations in one location, the facility enhances collaboration, efficiency, and patient experience — a true reflection of Church Health’s mission to care for the whole person and GTG’s commitment to quality, community-focused construction.
