Created in what the owner calls a “purpose-built vintage style,” this newly constructed recording space was designed in a way to capture some of the best elements of the legendary studios in the region – right down to the use of authentic, decades-old technology and consoles. Precise attention was given to the unique specifications necessary to craft the desired, timeless sound. Even the choice of a polyurethane paint affects sound performance in the room! Aesthetically, the 3,000-square-foot studio was designed to reflect Southern Grooves Productions’ neo-retro approach to recording.
