As part of the rapid growth at The University of Memphis Lambuth Campus, Grinder, Taber, & Grinder renovated the interior of Sprague Hall – one of the five dorms on the original campus. Built in 1953, the 200,000 SF structure now houses state-of-the-art labs, simulation suites, study areas, and offices for the fast-growing Loewenberg College of Nursing program.
The project converted former dormitory spaces into modern classrooms and specialized laboratories to support the Nursing Program. The renovated areas feature Skills Labs for simulated patient care, Simulation Rooms designed to mirror real hospital environments, Health Assessment Labs for clinical practice, and Supply Rooms for equipment and materials. These updates provide students and faculty with advanced facilities that promote hands-on learning and professional training.
