Formerly a beloved, local clothing shop and later, a national office supply store, the wholesale and retail grocer is a new and unique grocery option to the city, offering the quantities and savings of a wholesale source or the quick, premade food items of your local grocery store. The transformation of the 27,000-square-foot space required removing the entire, existing slab – including an outdated duct system that serviced the original tenant – and pouring a new one inside the confines of the building. GTG executed extensive vendor coordination for systems necessary for food sales such as refrigeration. Although a national chain, the store incorporates citycentric graphics to give the store a local feel.
